Multi Format 2316

The Multi Format 2316 replaces the MF1623 and now sports our new ShokBox construction.  Essentially made with structural foam, covered inside and out with a half inch of foam padded, soft tricot fabric nestled in an outer shell of durable nylon ballistics. It truly is an outstanding shock absorber with a combined 2" wall thickness of foam and fabric, yet remarkably strong enough to endure the trials of checked baggage without complaint.  It is lightweight, weather resistant, gobbles up gear, helps you get organized even if you don’t want to, and tolerates abuse. 

The MF2316 is excellent for lights, small stands, soft boxes and accessories. A complete location lighting kit can be assembled in this case whether it be Elinchrom, Broncolor, Dynalite, Profoto, Arri, Godox or a host of others. Makes no difference if you are using strobes, tungsten or LED. The customizable divider system enables you to divide up the case to fit the likes of what you need to protect whether you are just backing out of the driveway or heading to far far away.

We have also revamped the divider attachment system. Dividers now attach to the inside of the case or to each other by means of our new Sticky Pins. These are simply pins with hook on the heads that fit into the fluted ends of the dividers that, when positioned, fasten to the side walls or to each other. Simple and easy. Better yet, they can be purchased separately to retrofit any Multi Format case dividers we have ever made.

The exterior has a zippered front stash pocket for paperwork, color card, ipad, travel necessities etc. that you want within reach but are also secure. There are also four shoulder strap attachments for a cross body style carry with an optional shoulder strap. The back side has a flat pocket with hook and loop closure that also conceals an id tag holder. It doesn't broadcast you are a photographer with a lot of expensive equipment inside, but will still show it’s yours should it take an unscheduled detour.

The clean utilitarian style carries over into the interior of the case with a roomy, main area that can be divided up into custom compartments for all your equipment. This design helps organize your gear, makes it easier to tell when something is missing, and reduces or eliminates any damage to your livelihood.Two zippered mesh pockets line the lid of the case for instruction manuals, flash media wallets, card reader, tethering cables, zip ties or other accessories that can easily go missing.
